While the signs are no longer posted, the HOA and the CDD continue to endorse the outright selling of the fruit and vegetables, right in front of the Lake Ashton Club House. Clearly, while the 'rules' prohibit signs and the brazen selling goods and services, by the recent action of our 'leadership', have given ALL residents endorsement to all who desire to 'sell', with or without signs, regardless if you live here or not.
One interesting point - IF someone got sick from bad fruit or vegetables, trips and falls etc, guess WHO will be responsible for an ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT to cover such legal bills? You guessed it - the Residents of Lake Ashton.
So, all of you who enjoy cooking BBQ and would like to make money by selling it, have at it! Garage Sale - go for it! Home business meetings - enjoy!
Finally we can no longer concern ourselves with being threatened with violating these 'rules' or any of the other rules, since our 'leadership' picks and chooses which rule they will or will not enforce, thus clearly establishing, by current and past practice, their total selective enforcement of rules.
If you haven't noticed, only the politically incorrect (those who oppose such weak leadership) up until this point, get targeted by the HOA, CDD and the ARC. Now, if we no longer have to worry since the HOA, CDD or ARC have sent the new rules / standards for all of us!
