This web site is not an official web site of the Lake Ashton HOA, CDD, Management, or the Lake Ashton community.

The purpose of this site is to fill the gap left when, on 27 January 2011, the Lake Ashton Living website took down the resident discussion areas, that, until that time, afford this outlet and venue for it residents.

If a negative statement is made against an individual etc, it MUST be supported by public and official documentation. If, however, a posting is just an attempt to marginalize, slander or otherwise attack the HOA, CDD, Management or individuals, then such posts will be deleted.

Is Lake Ashton becoming Dumping Grounds for Winter Haven and Lake Wales?

Lake Ashton Residents (East and West) - Do you know that our Community is being used as an illegal  dumping ground?

The following pictures were taken 0n 26 Aug 2014, of land within both Lake Ashton East and West areas.

We all know that the developer defaulted on what has become known as the '58 acres' which had been
turned back over to the bank - so who is watching out for OUR interests?

It is time to contact your respective CDDs to complain [note - it is the JOB/Responsibility of CDDs to manage our property and to make this kind of thing does not occur] -

Please contact Swift Mud at (813) 470-5700 and ask for Environmental Compliance to complain.

Please contact your respective Mayors - note - the respective towns are supposed to have a CDD oversight committee to ensure developers comply with the law.

  • Lake Wales - Mayor Eugene Fultz   (863) 678-4182
  • Winter Haven - Mayor Nathaniel J. Birdsong, Jr. (863) 291-5600
